Can WordPress Help build chosen legacy?

Nishad, (starts as reply to a question on Facebook) I would go one huge leap further. Its not updates per se that is a problem. Updates are important to correct problems. Rather it is the consequences of updates that in my view are a HUGE MAJOR problem. Reason being that WP is in the stone age and seems not to be aware of this. As a result many people including myself, not a tech geek by any stretch of any imagination, has to struggle. Could elaborate further as we may be suffering the results of updates automatically updating PI (plugins). Could be themes or just about anything. Fault tracing is enormously time consuming and the WP nterface for doing so is IMHO pathetic. I am an ideas man not a WP developer but have had to adapt because I want to fulfill my goals which is to make the world a little better, by hook or by crook. Have suffered at the hands of 4 to 5 unintelligent developers, not doing their job properly, and now am having to learn myself. And I am a retired pensioner of 76 and want to get this working as my legacy. I know it sounds ridiculous, and some even in my family think I am, but it is me, my mission and goals.

Our web site faces two major problems at the moment.

1. Using?a consultant who may be good, not sure yet, at least he has been, he?can't login. Tried 4 to 5 times without success.?

Could it possibly be the case that a single email address cannot be used by more than one user in WP??Will find out?soon!

If so, I think it is bad, but some things have to be accepted.

2. The homepage used to show posts. It no longer does this, although those posts are definitely in the system/ site. How to check what is causing this is a major problem, maybe not if you are a brilliant geek.

I?and my developers have been wrestling with this a little too long. They have not been able to solve it. I have to, even though they can't. But I will. Because I am extremely determined and thinking about my legacy.

Time is running out, and I want to see TRUMP in gaol, the Brexit stupidity of the mad UK government reversed, China's greedy expansion in the South China sea brought under control, reversal?of China's diabolical process of removing freedom of expression?in HongKong, and complete contempt for its treaty with the UK , and?also concrete steps taken to manage climate change logically, and for my current country, Sweden where I've living many years, that young persons in Swedish schools (including my two now adult children) learning that the SmartPhone is not so bloody smart and not everything, more importantly IMHO is to be aware of people and one's and their surroundings. Old fashioned, huh?

This is too long, my apologies, my computer bag was stolen yesterday with my important papers for the site, and a terrible Samsung Phone A41 that had a non-removable notification preventing needed access. Waiting 5 mins or restarting, and no fixes in last 3 updates, and the Ipad just getting to grips with it for viewing interrnstional media. So life is not easy at the moment.

Anyone, any ideas on how to approach solving the 2 problems I highlighted above.

Don't think it is possible to highlight anything in FB. Not surprising given that IMHO, the almost sickest joke in the world is that?FB is the social media/platform for the world. God won't help us, but as an amateur Buddhist, I am not unoptimistic that somewhere there is some hope available. Unfortunately not from any of the consultants who have been associated with the site so far, so there may be some resources waiting to help. Am almost an incurable optimist. The story behind the site is a car crash which I just survived by the skin of my teeth, no one else in the car happy to say, I lost consciousness for maybe a couple of seconds, bang into a tree. Rehabilitation was powered by my agreement with the universe namely that If I received assistance to learn to walk again and get out of my wheelchair, I would do everything in my power to help make this here and now world a little better. And that is exactly what I am trying to do and why this note is so long. Hope it resonates positively with some of my current and future allies.
