Can We Have Some Fracking Perspective, Please?

The lack of the slightest fracking perspective when it comes to the reality of water pollution is evident when one pays attention to the news.

This is the e-mail I received earlier today from a good friend of NaturalGasNOW;

Anyone seen Josh, Maya….the Usual Suspects opining on this disaster?

Followed by a link to this story about raw sewage that could be flowing into the Meramec River for two more months before a wastewater treatment plant in Fenton, Missouri, resumes full operations after the Meramec River flooded the facility in late December. It’s a terrific question, of course, with an obvious answer; these infamous fractivists can’t be bothered with real water pollution when there’s so much work to be done in convincing others of the phony threats to water quality.

If Josh and Maya really had any fracking perspective and gave a damn about water pollution, they wouldn’t have to speculate about fracking or look further than the Delaware River for it; the same river they repeatedly claim is so special because it’s the water supply for so many millions of people. Consider, for example, what’s been happening in Delaware County, Pennsylvania, according to this press release regarding gallons of raw sewage that’s been flowing into the Delaware River and tributaries due to the overloading of wastewater facilities operated by the Delaware County Regional Water Quality Control Authority (DELCORA).
