Can Security catch up with Application Development in the Cloud Era?

That's the title of a webinar I was on earlier this week with Rapha?l Peyret, who is VP of Product for Cloud Security at Bitdefender. He joined them last year as a result of their acquisition of Horangi, whose product forms the basis of Bitdefender's CSPM+ offering.

It was a great conversation in which we discussed how AppDev has been turbocharged in recent years, thanks to the adoption of modern development technologies and cloud-native workload formats (aka microservices), as well as the security challenges raised by what I'll call the Need for Speed.

Raph also described how companies who are developing cloud-native applications can retrofit them with security in a nice three-step process, illustrated with a rather nifty pyramid image.
