?Mitt Arv was selected as a Finalist at the Singapore FinTech Festival 2024 Hackcelerator! And this is how our journey unfolded:
As a Hackcelerator finalist, Mitt Arv embraced the challenge of addressing the innovative problem statement: "Legacy Planning for Financial Resilience." Through solutions like our app, Financial Games Box, and My Legacy Book, we’ve been working to educate and empower families, helping them take control of their financial futures in meaningful and practical ways.
Mitt Arv’s remarkable journey to securing 6th place out of 300 competitors at the Singapore FinTech Festival (SFF) 2024 Hackcelerator deserves every bit of applause. This achievement is the result of strong determination, great leadership, and a constant drive to bring about waves in the fintech industry.
Teamwork That Made the Dream Work
Our success wouldn’t have been possible without the leadership of: Vishal Mehta , Ashwin V Jain , Divyank Jain , Nitesh Yadav & Snigdha Nanduri .
And, of course, the incredible efforts of our talented team and many others who worked tirelessly to make this dream a reality.
Gearing Up for the Big Stage
The first three days of the Singapore FinTech Festival (SFF) were demo days, and they were crucial. Our team members arrived early on October 28th to make sure everything was perfect. From crafting a powerful pitch to fine-tuning presentation designs, they left no detail unchecked.
Preparing for an event of this scale was no easy task. For us, this wasn’t just about presenting ideas, it was about changing how people see legacy planning and financial literacy.
Amidst the hard work, the team also made time to recharge and bond. A long, refreshing walk on the beach helped everyone relax, followed by a celebratory dinner hosted by Vishal. Whether it was trying matcha coffee or having a delicious meal cooked by our CTO, these moments reminded us that taking a break is just as important as pushing hard. Of course, we made time to explore and soak in the sights of Singapore
This balance of hard work and connection was what made our journey to SFF truly special.
Leaving Our Mark at Singapore FinTech Festival 2024
At the Singapore FinTech Festival, where "payments" often dominate the conversation, Mitt Arv stood out by introducing bold concepts: death-tech and legacy-tech. These fresh ideas sparked curiosity, igniting meaningful conversations and reshaping perspectives on fintech's possibilities.
We drew an incredible 95% of visitors at Booth F42, with 70% engaging in insightful discussions.?
A highlight of the event was presenting our Financial Literacy Box for Kids to thought leaders like Shashi Tharoor and Her Majesty Queen Máxima of the Netherlands.?
For us, it’s not just about recognition, it’s about impact. The festival wasn’t just a competition; it was a platform to inspire families to rethink financial literacy and legacy planning.
