Can recruiting work as a part-time gig?

Through a recent LinkedIn poll , I asked if people thought recruiters could effectively work on a part-time basis. The yeses clearly have it! Over 75% of you said that yes, you can engage a part-time recruiter and still have them be productive and helpful to your hiring efforts.

What could this mean?

  1. Nothing, a casual LinkedIn poll with 181 responses doesn't have material significance. ??
  2. Part-time could be big. With the demand for recruiters at an all-time high and 11 million jobs that need to get filled, part-time recruiters might be a great way to accelerate hiring.
