Can reading books make a change or direct you in a better way? (Part-3)

Can reading books make a change or direct you in a better way? (Part-3)

Let's start with the very first theory about the "Impact of Tiny Change" introduced in the book by James Clear. However, he gave many examples of how small changes change life and contribute to a great result. He talked about many examples. Let's take some examples from India. Our Captain Cool always says I believe in the process rather than the result. In one of his speeches, he pointed out that he mentioned how his father inspired him when he had his exam and cricket trial on the same day, his father told him that if you prepared a whole year, then one-day preparation would not impact your score and even if you not prepare whole year then also one-day preparation would not impact your score. Even in many interviews, he pointed out that process is more important if you are making a small positive on a daily basis and think about the cumulative impact of that. When talking about the power of tiny change, how can we forget A.P.J Abdul Kalam, who always focuses on continuous learning in life. In the following video link, while asking how to become successful, he mentions continuous learning as one of the four pillars. (https://www.youtube.com/shorts/7owBdtgIUU4)

Let's take one example from Mahabharat "Eklavya". The only person who had as much potential as Arjun had. He had no guru or Acharya to learn from. He made a statue of guru Dhronacharya from mud and started practising. Every morning, he would take his guru's blessings and practice archery in front of his guru's idol. Many years passed, and Eklavya mastered the art of archery. He learned himself by practising daily, giving his complete dedication to learning "Dhanush Van Vidya/ Archery", and he showed the world that one can be an expert by practising. Impact of Tiny Changes

Let's talk about the Result vs Time graph. It's very obvious that a small change is not visible the very next moment, but when you see yourself after some time, you will find many differences in yourself. When we go to the gym, we always want to see the results the very next moment, but we all know it takes time. And if we do not see any changes for a week, we lose our motivation in that. So, every event has a valley of disappointment after that only we can see the changes.

Mahmud Ghazni lost his first 17 battles before winning one. Mahmud Ghazni made the very first attack on India in 1001. He attacked India 17 times in 25 years. He made his last attack on the Somnath temple in 1025 to plunder the gold. (Just for the sake of example)

After going through these examples, we can surely say "ALL IS WELL". Start making a positive change in your life you won't see any immediate change but in the long run, you will able to connect the dots and how these changes contributed to the betterment of your life.

Soon, we will meet in the next part of "Can reading books make a change or direct you in a better way?" with the new theory.
