Can Links Predict Elections?

Over at Majestic we occasionally play with out link data to make predictions about elections. We have looked at a couple of US Presidential elections in the past, as well as the French Presidential elections and and (less successfully) the Scottish Independence debate. So far I would say we have called four out of five.

So this time we started to have a look at the Republican race. Whilst we find Donald Trump is doing well (as do a bunch of polls), does he really have the gravitas to take on the Democratic heavyweight Hilary Clinton? We don't think so. You can have a look here.
