Can Internal Communicators Be In Tune With Their Organizations? Watch this Video Interview with Erik S. Meyers to Understand More!

Delighted to share the 10th edition of Intraskope’s Spotlight Series’ featuring Erik S. Meyers, a communications and digital entrepreneur who has worked in 6 countries across three continents.

With over 25 years of expertise in corporate roles, including a variety of communications disciplines, technical writing and translation, and corporate strategy, he believes in adopting an unorthodox, view of the current topics and trends. The author of The Accidental Change Agent" (business) and the Caged Time (Jewish LGBTQ historical fiction), Erik offers unique perspectives on change, business and communications.

In this series, I talk to thought leaders on topics interrelated with internal communications such as culture, crisis, change, executive presence and leadership. The goal is to help unravel why they matter, what can leaders and communicators learn from experts and how we can put insights to practice.

In this interview he shares why getting a deeper understanding of business is vital for any communicator. Getting closer to the company’s products, services and offerings, the communicator can work as a strategic partner.

“By understanding the business in detail, you can show genuine interest in people from across the company and really connect with them. This will help you real context to the stories you are writing and the events you are moderating”, he says.
