5th June is Environment Day and on 8th June is the Oceans Day. Two things that started life on the planet and will most probably end it if we don't take action now. We all know this.
One big culprit : The cheap, use-and-throw plastics that we have been made a slave of ??
We all know what we need to do - we need to stop the manufacturing and use of all cheap plastic which is choking us. I know of hundreds of my friends who would like to reduce the use of single-use-plastics from their lives : packaging, bottles, straws, lighters, poly bags, tooth brushes, disposable cutlery, plastic wraps where it is not needed, bottled water, chips packs, namkeen packs, wet wipes, diapers, sanitary napkins, single use razors, even single cookies are individually wrapped in plastic wraps ??
Is it even possible to get rid of this menace now ? Can we even do anything ?
I have often felt helpless because I want to but I can't find alternatives to make the right choice. Have you felt helpless too ? Do you grapple with this problem on a daily basis ?
