EZJET has created a truly unique and exciting program called “FreeBird”.

“FreeBird” is not a fractional system, or a charter system or any relic of the past.

FreeBird” is a creative and proven concept that provides a way for non-fortune 1,000 companies to easily own a corporate jet, based at their location, at no cost to them…plus each owner receives 50 free hours of flight time, and an additional 50 hours at the aircraft’s DOC annually, plus make some money as well.

FreeBird” is a total turnkey program that works as follows: A client buys a jet from “FreeBird”, with a refundable 10% down payment. “FreeBird” covers all the operating expenses, and makes the owners payments. It is just that simple. And you get the 50 free hours as well as a second 50 hours at direct operating costs (DOC).

A “FreeBird” owner will sell his aircraft back into the “FreeBird” program every two to three years and replace it with another one. His original 10% is reused as a down payment on the next aircraft. We will do this with every owner and aircraft as part of the overall program. When a “FreeBird” owner decides he wants to retire from the program, we will sell his jet to a new buyer, and he will get his 10% returned.

Let’s look at really makes aviation expensive…New Aircraft

Everyone in the fractional business will tell you that you must have a brand new Jet aircraft to be safe and reliable. WRONG ANSWER!  A very stupid and self-serving answer.

Have you ever flown in an airliner? If you have, there is a 99.9% chance you were not on a new aircraft. Did you feel any less safe? Was it reliable? DID IT FALL OUT OF THE SKY?

Anyone telling you that you need a new aircraft, is trying to sell you a new aircraft or a fractional share at 10 times the cost of a perfectly good used corporate jet. And guess what, the new one and used one, are basically the same aircraft. The new one comes with a new model number. They look the same and they perform the same. That is because they are basically the same aircraft.

Here is the real deal on Jet aircraft. Jet aircraft do not age chronology like a car does. They age by the hours on the airframe. The FAA has standards for jet aircraft construction in excess of 100,000 hours per FAA FAR part 25.

So EZJET uses pre owned aircraft. All the maintenance is logged in their log books. In fact, because of that, we know all the idiosyncrasies of every aircraft before you ever see it…Because that information is known via the log books, something that cannot be said about a brand new aircraft.

We created EZJET when fractional operators started pushing 16th ownership shares. 16th shares, like 8th shares, and before that quarter shares are a direct effort the fractional companies to dilute the extremely high cost of the new aircraft (the 10 times the cost problem) mentioned earlier.

What does a typical 16th ownership share program cost for a new aircraft yet similar to the Challenger 601? The challenger 605 fractional program comes with many fees. Cost of the aircraft. Cost of management. Cost of Direct Operating Costs (DOC).

Those costs will total up to around $750,000 per year for 50 hours. That equals $15,000 an hour, $36.76 per nautical mile, or about $4.17 a second.

With EZJET your cost per hour for 50 hours of occupied flight time is $000,000. Per nautical mile $00.00. Per second $0.00.

The fractional operators will tell you that you are getting a huge tax write off to offset the costs. Well sure you will, right up until the IRS knocks on the door and wants their recapture. That will happen as soon as your 16th share of the aircraft is sold.

There are no gimmicks with EZJET, if you have one of our aircraft you will fly completely for free 50 hours, every year you own the aircraft. Our owners will also get a second 50 hours for the direct operating costs which really is a 100% write off. After that any hours flown would be charged at the standard charter rate.

The aircraft would be based at your home airport, the crew would be based at your home airport, it is your aircraft, you own it and we operate it. So like fractional you do not need to worry about anything to do with operations.
