“Can I get your opinion about this script?”

A good question, but do we need more opinions about our future plans? Or, do we want to take action and see what works in real life?
Of course, it is fun to sit back, rest our feet and imagine the money rolling in. But if we're looking to build a business, it is the actions we take that will make the difference.
If we spend all of our time getting opinions, and never testing or getting experience with "live" prospects, then we might as well sit on a beach and continue dreaming.
Yes, we want to say and do better stuff. But let's not delay our activity indefinitely by waiting until we think everything is perfect. We need experience to start feeling comfortable with what we say and do.
We take action the best we know how for now, and then improve our actions based upon our real life experiences.
A powerful close with instant results. Magic words.
These four words get our prospects to think about their problems, and the consequences, and then to make decisions to take action, or not. See if we can pick out these four words from the following examples.
Have we ever read a newspaper?
How do we read the newspaper? Do we start at the upper left-hand corner and read everything until we get to the bottom right-hand corner of the last page? I don’t think so. I bet we only read certain articles. And how do we choose which articles to read? By the headlines. Yes, that is the first sentence. And we prejudge that headline harshly, just like our prospects prejudge our first sentence. The good news is that if our first sentence is good, our prospects smile and want to know more.
Fun first sentences.
