The Mindvalley 20 Year Plan to Upgrade Humanity (A post based on my Opening Speech at Mindvalley University 2018)

Personally writing this to you from Tallinn, Estonia as part of our month-long Mindvalley City Campus project.

And at our opening party I announced two big things:

First, that Mindvalley has now changed its name to Mindvalley University.

And the second thing is a bit more controversial. We’re embarking on a 20 year challenge to upgrade humanity globally and create the largest shift in human consciousness in history.

This also involves working with 100 countries and their schooling systems (starting with Finland) and bringing Mindvalley into every company in the Fortune 500.

I shared the goal at the kickoff party for Mindvalley University (pic below) and I thought I’d share it with you in today’s Sunday email.

You see, I’m sure you feel the same pain in your heart when you think about some of the major problems we’re facing in the world today.

Rampant deforestation that’s leading our environment towards irreversible damage.

Pollution of our oceans and how there’ll be more plastic than fish in our seas by 2050.

Malicious politics in many parts of the world that uses racism and hate to divide people.

Plus never in human history have we experienced such a massive exponential rise in technology. Today we have weapons of war that can destroy millions of lives at the push of a button.

But is our level of consciousness keeping up with our technology?

You see, while we do have many challenges we need to overcome as a collective species, the underlying problem we face is that, unless our consciousness can keep pace with our rising tech and our ever more powerful machines of industry….

We run the risk of becoming a species with really advanced tech with low-level ways of thinking.

A species that is slowly making the world worse off for future generations by engaging in short-term thinking.

Is there a solution?

I believe so.

There is ONE switch, that if we could ‘flip’ it, would quickly turn all of the problems we face obsolete.

And I mean, ALL our problems.

From our politics, to our ecology, to achieving lasting world peace…

That ONE switch is how we educate the next generation.

This is the mission Mindvalley is fighting for.

And to achieve it, we’re seeking to build the world’s foremost education institution.

It’s no easy task.

And it requires us to truly rethink education in every possible dimension.

From early infant learning, to elementary schools, to universities, to vocational schools, and even to how we educate adults.

And if we’re ever going to keep pace with our rising technologies, we need to also create technology that accelerates learning.

BUT we also have to assemble to world’s greatest teachers and bring a NEW type of education to humanity.

Specifically — Transformational Education.

Think about this…

Ray Kurzweil of Google has predicted that by 2029, every single one of us will have access to sophisticated artificial intelligence directly from our smartphone, providing us unprecedented and unlimited access to virtually any form of knowledge we want.

But in that vast sea of potential knowledge, what would be the singular, most important thing we teach our young?

I believe the answer is Transformational Education.

The wisdom to understand how to enhance our health, our bodies, our compassion, our mindfulness, and our spirituality.

The wisdom to realize we have more in common than we have differences, and that what unique differences we do have, we celebrate unconditionally.

The wisdom to continually choose the right course of action that pushes humanity forward, and helps make the world more peaceful, cleaner and happier.

That is, after all, what I’m sure we all truly want —

To create a world that’s better off that the world we have today.

And it all starts with that ONE switch...

Upgrading our Education Globally to move from its current curriculum to a curriculum that focuses on Transformational Education.

And our plan is to bring transformational education, the likes that you are learning with us right now on Mindvalley, to every school, to every Fortune 500 company, to every country on the planet.

And we’re giving ourselves 20 years to get there.

What this means is that by 2038, young 18-year-olds who graduate into the world will be a fundamentally different species, functioning at totally different level of consciousness.

Yes, what I’m suggesting is that together, we create the highest uplevelling in human consciousness humanity has ever seen.

And to do it in a single generation.

Bold.

Absolutely.

And to do it, it will take some seriously crazy people.

Crazy people like the team I work with.

Crazy people like the Mindvalley teachers you’ve come to know and love.

Crazy people like the 1000 Mindvalley members who relocated with me to Tallinn, Estonia to reinvent education.

Crazy people like you, who are striving to be the best they can be, and are out there in the world making your own personal dent in the Universe.

It’s as the famous Apple ad said…

“Here's to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They're not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo.

You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can't do is ignore them.  Because they change things.

They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius.  Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
