It CAN happen...

I ask myself one thing when I am thinking of subscribing to another offer to "join the club" from the gas station to the sub shop... AM I EVER GOING TO HAVE ENOUGH POINTS OR PUNCHES TO RECEIVE ANYTHING MEANINGFUL? (In the essence of full disclosure I will admit a strong 2nd is often ... do I save anything today?)

My experience with Hilton Honors never disappoints and only seems to get more rewarding in practical, meaningful, achievable and useful ways with time..." Reading the snapshot from Forbes below I thought, YES, this could really happen!

"Blogger Books $100K Honeymoon For $500, Using Points (Hilton Mention).

Forbes (4/26) columnist Alexandra Talty reports on the efforts of Travel Summary blogger Omar Zaman in planning an “extravagant, jet-setting honeymoon using only points and miles.” Zaman will stay in the UAE’s Conrad Dubai Hotel “for three nights, using 186,276 Hilton Honors Points.” Talty says “the cash price would have been $1,575,” and “typically hotel points are worth ‘less’ than miles, but they are easier to book as there are fewer blackout dates and hidden fees.” In Paris, Zaman will stay “five nights at the Park Hyatt Vendome Hotel,” as he “considers this top-tier property one of the best in the city of love.” Zaman will spend 150,000 Hyatt Points for this $5,138 booking."
