I have been challenging my clients and myself to step back and simplify. I have seen and lived well-meaning over-engineered business strategies, programs, and initiatives. ?You name it.

Over time, I have begrudgingly learned that the solution is usually the simple and obvious choice.

So how do you make it easy…

1. Hit the pause button. ?Before launching headlong into your big business strategy for Q2 and beyond, pause. ?What data do you have to support these decisions??Are all the moving parts necessary?
2. Consider a possible MVP (Most Viable Product). ?I know most of us are B2B consultants and professional service-based business owners, so it is easy to add bells and whistles when you are selling expertise.?That approach can create busy work (that you or someone on the team has to execute) that has no bearing on the results.?SOooooooo… Make it easy.
3. Focus on client satisfaction: Deliver excellent service, provide exceptional customer support, and actually listen to your clients' feedback. Happy supported clients are more likely to become repeat buyers and referral sources. ?Translation… save those marketing dollars.
