Can D.R.E.A.M.S Come true?

Can D.R.E.A.M.S Come true?

What is the life of your dreams?

Have you ever thought about what you would like your life to be five years from now?

Can you describe what's happening in vivid detail?

Most of us are probably struggling with what life is going to be like in five days at the moment, but it's important that we do focus on the long term, even if only for a few minutes.

I've asked a dozen or so people these questions recently and it's amazing how few people can give me a solid answer. They usually say things like "I'd like to be doing something with more purpose, lose a few extra pounds or spending more time with family.

In fact, the only people that have succinct answers are several executive coaches that I've been learning from, across a few amazing networking groups.

These very well paid (and worth every cent) high-performance coaches all use the same process to archive what they have achieved.

Visualisation of the future in such great detail, that it's almost like they are there and can touch, feel, and sense their goals.

They write down exactly how they would like their life to look like.

We've heard this time and time again, yet we fail to take action because we can't be sure it's going to work. Mainly because faith doesn't look or feel like anything you can buy at the grocery store.

Every single paper diary I look back over from the last four years has a list of goals that I wrote down at one point or another. You'd be absolutely blown away at how many of these goals have come to fruition. I can see the rise in confidence with each new entry being ticked off and proudly enjoying destroying the glass ceiling of what I once thought impossible, yet now is an everyday happening.

Like Aerosmith sang with "Dream" (Sing it with me!)

"Dream on, dream on, dream on
Dream until your dream come true
Dream on, dream on, dream on
Dream until your dream come true!"

Write that dream life down now. Chances are with good living, modern science and some decent genes, you'll have at least forty years left in you. That's more than long enough to leave a positive impact somewhere in the world.
