Can consciousness transform our lives and relationships?

Can consciousness transform our lives and relationships?

What does consciousness really mean, and how does it play a role in our lives?

If we look at the definition of consciousness, which is 'the quality or state of being aware especially of something within oneself', then we can start to understand how pivotal it is.

My recent conversation with Dr. Shefali looks at this in depth, and we discuss how consciousness is something that can have a bigger impact on our lives and relationships than we could have ever thought.??

What began as a discussion about self-awareness evolved into a deep exploration of how consciousness can transform every aspect of our lives, from our relationships to our sense of purpose.

Skip to 8 minutes and 40 seconds to understand how we can turn suffering into personal growth.?

In this episode, you'll also learn:

  • How we can embrace change
  • Why taking responsibility is at the heart of personal growth and empowerment
  • What it means to really live authentically
  • And much more

Dr. Shefali not only offers insights and strategies, but we confront truths such as: Are we self-aware? How can we reclaim power in relationships? Why is understanding our shadow essential??

Whatever the main relationships in your life, be it romantic, professional or as a parent, this episode will shine a light on how you can show up with self-awareness and authenticity.

Dr. Shefali is a NYT bestselling author of books on conscious parenting and living. Oprah calls her "revolutionary" and "the best child expert" she's interviewed, and her message has reached millions through social media and appearances.

This conversation gave me a new perspective on conscious living and tools for self-discovery, and I hope you take away from this as much as I did.

I look forward to hearing your thoughts.

?Episode 3 of the Live Well Be Well podcast Season 14 is live today!

Live Well: Skin

So many of you have asked me about my skincare routine, so I thought it was time to let you in on my secrets, after I tried and tested a product for a while and have been so happy with the results. In the last 4 months, I have been using the BON CHARGE mask and it has really helped reduce any dark spots and those horrid monthly breakouts.? It is the best red light face mask I have found (and let me tell you, I hunted!). Red light therapy really helps to reduce inflammation and helps to promote healing because it uses the most optimal wavelengths of red (630nm) and infrared (850nm) light to deliver these benefits.

Read more about it here and you can use the code LIVEWELL for 15% off anything on the site (I also love the red light reading lamp).

Be Well: Body

Let's talk stress. Believe it or not, stress isn't all bad. A little stress can sharpen your senses, preparing you for any challenges that might lie ahead.

?But when stress overstays its welcome, that's when we have a problem. When stress becomes chronic, it can affect us cognitively, emotionally, behaviourally and physically. I unfortunately learnt this the hard way when I was hospitalised for 4 months with burnout in my twenties. The thing I really wanted to understand when that happened, is how to start to spot the signs of chronic stress. And understanding inflammation in our body is a good place to start. There's also a lot going on internally which can show us our inflammation levels so I took a few tests recently to see how my levels were stacking up.

Read more here about the OptimallyMe General MOT test that I took - and if you want to do one yourself make sure you use code LWBW20 for 20% off your order of any personalised testing kits.?

There isn't self. Loved it. Reminds me of Radical interconnectedness Daniel Schmachtenberger talks about. I love the work of Dr. Tsabary, and I see Conscious parenting as a way to transform the generational trauma and build a peaceful future for us, our children and future generations
