Can cloud solutions make SME’s a force to be reckoned with as they can become a community of inter-dependent businesses?

Embracing the power of community and the Cloud:

With cloud-based solutions, the traditional paradigms of developing software solutions onsite and running a business within these constraints, have the potential to make these models seem ancient and creating a competitive disadvantage.

If the principles of the old paradigms are migrated to web-based / mobile-based solutions, the potential of the cloud will not be achieved as it is just another way to do the same thing.

Understanding that the cloud has potentially no limits, its ability to connect people, businesses, solutions and devises is almost unimaginable, and then embracing those abilities by creating new generation solutions that honour the value of community will in my opinion cause those cloud-based solutions to improve the manner in which we do business and be to the benefit of all.
