Can Cheap SEO Rank Your Site?

I just finished the first detox for this client. They came to us when their last SEO agency caused their traffic to drop in half.

 And I've got to say it makes me mad. So many "SEO agencies" out there are using outdated practices that ruin a website's rankings. Whether they know it or not, they are ruining their client's sites with over-optimized links, auto-link builders and cheaply-built PBN networks.

But when these SEO companies screw up and penalize a site, do they care? Does it matter to them if they ruin a company's hard-earned website rankings? Does it matter if a company has to lay off employees because they lost business?

Apparently not.

Internet Marketing isn't about collecting a paycheck. It's about changing the lives of the owners and employees that work there.

But too many employers are chasing bottom dollar.  And -- as with our client -- this is what can result.

Thankfully, this client is in tune enough with their site to recognize that damage was being done and to cut ties with their SEO vendor before their site was penalized.

We will now begin the 6 month process of restoring their rankings. They will have a good Christmas season.
