Can a large language model like ChatGPT be used in drug development?

The short answer: yes.

Some companies like Insilico Medicine are already using it to query large data sets with natural language conversations.

Synthace uses it to design protocols for biology experiments and automate lab work.

But there are still limitations in terms of the accuracy of the answers and the way generative AI processes data without transparency.
