Can Change Help You Build a Better Tomorrow?

There’s change coming. You can count on that. To stay the same should not be the goal. Our purpose is to learn, to grow, to get wiser, and better -- it's best not to always rely on a constant. The most sought after skill in the professional world is flexibility because the stream of innovations and inventions will keep coming on as sure as the river flows. And that will upend industries, jobs, and perhaps your career. 

Change is not always easy -- sometimes it’s downright terrifying, but that’s why the rewards are so great. I’ve happily lived in Manhattan most of my adult life, but in just a few days I’ll be leaving it all behind and moving out to Hollywood to work at Netflix. Who could turn down an offer to work at one of America’s most beloved companies?

I will miss The Big Apple. I will miss my incredible friends. I will miss my amazing family, I will miss my close knit community of neighbors, my favorite smoothie shop, my restaurants, the parks, and the list could go on and on for a very long time.

Yet I know that this is the right move for me. I’m sure I will make a difference, will learn, will grow, will get wiser and be better for it. So, for now, it’s so long to New York City and hello to a brand new adventure. No, change is not always easy, but in my heart, I know for sure that it will be totally worth it.
