AI in drug development:

AI plays essential roles in drug development, including early stages such as high-throughput testing and drug development for complex diseases such as cancer, cardiac injury, and metabolic syndrome. Drug development takes 10 to 15 years and is expensive to develop, $2 billion to $2.5 billion per FDA-approved drug. Yet AI faces challenges such as lack of reliable animal models for preclinical studies. The collaboration of DeepMind and the European Informatics Institute is an excellent example of the impact of AI on drug development. They mapped 3D protein structures of over 99% of protein using AI. This will enable finding druggable targets.

Yesterday, I had my first TV interview with FoxNews. Good Day Rochester. I shared my view on ChatGPT and why you should care as business leaders.

ChatGPT offers great value in business in three area:

1. Operational efficiencies: Process automation , and resource optimization which results in increased productivity and free up time to do more activities within your zone of genius.
