The million-dollar question that has been circulating for years is now becoming a reality. With significant advancements in technology, AI has been increasingly adapting and embracing human-like actions that would feel almost indistinguishable.
So, can AI replace people? My answer is a bit nuanced, so let me explain.
There are some jobs that AI can never replace, at least for now.
While AI systems do have a wide range of abilities and can perform tasks such as?pattern recognition, decision making, and data analysis, there are certain jobs that require the personal touch and creativity of a human.
Jobs that require?empathy, creativity, judgment, and human interaction?are going to stay with us for a long time.
2. Creativity, innovation and consciousness are areas where humans have an edge over AI
The human mind is capable of?generating new ideas and concepts?that have never been thought of before. Creativity is an essential feature in fields such as art, design, and marketing, where innovation becomes a part of everyday work-life. Despite of the massive ongoing drive of improving AI to become more and more cognitive, intent-oriented and responsive, the phenomenon of brining consciousness to AI still remains unresolved and likely very unlikely to be answered even in next few years.
Here are 3 examples!
How AI helps us techies..
1.Web and App Development:
An area where AI is particularly making a significant impact is in the development space. With the help of AI, developers and engineers can create robust design websites and apps using no-code tools, and focus on the core business logic. With the increasing popularity of no-code technologies, developers and engineers no longer need to spend numerous hours writing complex code to build websites and applications. Let’s take platforms like Bubble, Wix, Airtable and Webflow for instance.
2. Cloud Infrastructure:
Creating an infrastructure on the cloud is another common use case of AI in the tech space. Traditionally, creating a cloud infrastructure required a lot of manual work, including configuring the servers, setting up the network, and managing the storage. To build and deploy cloud-native apps necessitates a dedicated team of highly specialized engineers as well as a significant amount of time, which many start-ups and SMBs lack.

However, with AI, developers can use pre-built models to automate these tasks and reduce the time needed to create an infrastructure. Moreover, the AI models can continually monitor the infrastructure and detect problems before they escalate, making it easier to maintain the infrastructure. DuploCloud, is a no-code/low-code cloud infrastructure automation tool that can cut configuration and deployment time from months to just a few weeks.
Benefit?
One of the most significant benefits of integrating AI in tech is the possibility to minimize time to market. Businesses may use AI to automate routine operations like testing, deployment, and debugging, freeing up engineers to focus on building new products and addressing complicated business problems. This directly impacts time to market, allowing firms to launch products and services more quickly and achieve a competitive advantage in their particular marketplaces.
Here is a solid remark from my side! Industries are increasing their SLAs by employing AI so that humans may focus solely on KRAs by minimizing their attention in terms of gathering data/facts and translating subjective information into accurate objective information within the organization.
As AI continues to evolve, it’s likely that we’ll see even more innovation and opportunity in this space.
3. It is humans who make AI work
Human intelligence is required for artificial intelligence to exist. Humans create artificial intelligence. Humans write the lines of code that AI is built on. Humans provide the data on which AI robots function. These machines are operated by people.
As AI applications expand, so will the demand for human services. Someone must develop the machine’s AI processes, build these machines, and operate and maintain them. Only humans are capable of doing so. Based on these data, you may confidently discount any assumptions about AI replacing humans in the workplace.
On the other hand though,?there are some jobs that AI has already started to affect.
To sum it up…
I believe that AI is not here to replace the human workers. Instead, it can help us do things more efficiently and effectively. AI can automate the tedious jobs that nobody wants to do, freeing up our time and energy for more creative and meaningful tasks.
In the end, while AI has the capability to automate certain jobs and industries, it’s unlikely that it will ever be able to completely replace humans. Technology is always going to need?human input, reasoning, and empathy to truly be successful.
We need?human intelligence, creativity, and empathy to make the most of AI and shape the future?in a way that benefits all of us.
So, the next time you hear someone say that AI is going to replace your job, take it with a grain of salt. After all, there are some things that only humans can do. Right?
