Campaign Strategy

If you’ve tried advertising on Facebook before and didn’t get the results you wanted, you may have said something like this.
“My ads got a lot of likes, comments, and shares but didn’t get any leads or sales!”
A few years ago, I offered a free ad strategy session to our email list and got over 82 appointments within 60 minutes after sending that email.
The response was terrific.
What I heard on those calls was even more amazing to me.
The majority of the people I talked to made a statement about their experience, similar to the one above.
Would Facebook ads not work for their business?
That wasn’t it at all.
In all of these instances, they had selected the wrong campaign objective.
Why?
Because they were taking the path of least resistance. They were boosting their posts and assuming that all advertising is created equal.
The fact of the matter is that Facebook is a cool and smart advertising platform.
It will help you to find the right people based on the campaign objective you choose.
The campaign objective you can use are:
- Brand awareness
- Reach
- Traffic
- Engagement
- App installs
- Video Views
- Lead generation
- Messages
- Conversions
- Catalog sales
- Store Traffic
You should select the campaign objective that’s most in line with your overall goals of what you want people to do.
Personally, most of my campaigns use the conversion objective, but campaign objectives vary based on which of my ad strategies I’m using.
The point is that choosing the right objective is critical to the success of your ads!
