The Camel and the Pig

A camel and a pig were good friends. They shared everything that they had and spent most of their time roaming about the forest, looking for something to eat. One day, while they were resting under the shade of a huge tree near a gently flowing river, the camel began to tell the pig of its exploits. It talked about its ability to go without water for many days. It added that it was better than the pig.
This really pissed off the pig. Though the camel was its friend, it could not accept the information. It argued with the camel. Soon, with sullen faces, the friends started walking through the forest. They came to a part of the jungle that had juicy berries and fruits. The trees were surrounded by thorny bushes. The camel craned its neck and ate the berries and fruits effortlessly, whereas the pig could not reach the treetops for the fruits.
The camel winked at his friend knowingly. The pig grunted and walked off, followed by a smug-looking camel. They came to another part of the forest that had a similar grove of smaller plants that hung with juicy berries. The thorn bushes around the berry shrubs were quite tall, with their lower branches cut off. The pig could easily squeeze its way under the thorns and reach the berries. As for the camel, though it tried hard, it could not come under the low-lying thorn bushes. The pig smiled.
