Camden Practice to hold Health and Wellbeing Open Day for local community

King’s Cross Surgery ?will hold a Health and Wellbeing Open Day on Tuesday 16 May at the N1C Centre of the Plimsoll Building at 1 Handyside Street, London NC1 4BQ between 11am and 1pm as part of an initiative to promote better healthcare awareness across the area.

Open to all local residents, the event is an opportunity for existing patients to meet their surgery team and for local residents to register with a local GP practice and?learn about other local services that can help with their health and wellbeing.?
You will have the opportunity to meet with representatives from Camden Carers, Camden Musculoskeletal (MSK) Service, Camden Councill Air Quality Programme, Pancras Square Leisure Centre, the Somali Youth Development Resource Centre and information will be available from Rethink. Refreshments and activities for our younger visitors will be available too.

There will also be a chance for you to have a free mini health check carried out by one of the experienced Health Care Assistants (HCA). It will also give the local community a chance to meet with members of the surgery team and ask them any questions they may have about the practice.

We want to ensure that we are present in the communities that we service and to ensure that they know how to access primary care services.
