Cambridge Community Arts to bring Creative Moments to Cambridge Corporates

To improve workplace productivity and staff wellbeing for Cambridge corporates, Cambridge Community Arts has launched Creative Moments; group workshops lead by inspiring artists and performers.

Offering a range of artforms both in-house and online, experienced creative practitioners will guide groups to have fun, engage with creative thinking and use their imaginations. Suggested 2-to-3-hour sessions will be tailored to the needs of your organisation, all materials can be provided and there is no requirement to have any experience in the art form!

Jane Rich, CEO of Cambridge Community Arts, said: “We know that creative participation improves wellbeing, reduces stress and builds better communication skills, this is true in both the community and in the workplace, which is why we are bringing together our experience and connections to offer bespoke creative workshops to Cambridge businesses."

Since 2014 Cambridge Community Arts have supported over 1,500 transformative journeys, with more than 60 creative practitioners across 21 different artforms in 20 community venues across Cambridge. The charity supports adults with experience of mental ill-health or social exclusion through community arts, improving their confidence, mental health, and recovery journey by increasing skills and creating friendship groups through shared creative interest.

Nice taking Arts to the communities. Creatives can unfold when opportunities are available for freedom of expression. More to it is availability of materials to play with. Let's communicate outside writing, speech to using brushes, clay......
