The world of technology providers to the recruitment, TA and HR sector has grown exponentially over the past decade. It has become a fully fledged industry in its own right, and new entrants with new innovations are joining at an exponential rate.
If you are part of this business, you’ll know that colleagues have an intimate knowledge and perspective of the talent acquisition sector, and unique insight to what is going on in the industry at any time.?The ebb and flow of demands from TA and HR professionals to solve their problems and achieve their goals is reflected in their need for technology which really delivers tangible results.
In my career in recruitment since the 1980s, I gradually morphed into the technology side of things from 2000 onwards. Since then, I have helped a large number of vendors to finesse their products, bring them to market, and meet the ever-changing needs of demanding clients. This has included launching aggregator services, iPhone apps, psychometric assessments, AI based matching solutions, and of course video technology.
In all of this time, I have been most visible for the creation and hosting of the National Online Recruitment Awards, and building the community of tech providers, employers, agency recruiters, job boards and publications. At all stages we recognise excellence in online recruitment provision from the perspective of the jobseekers themselves.

Now that we have a mature industry sector of our own, I firmly believe it is vitally important for technology providers to connect and collaborate, do deals, and solve new challenges.
