Calling These Pseudo-Liberals To Order

Even after suffering the humiliating consequences of their hubris and bullying, new (= false) liberals of the Clinton machine and the mainstream media are still persisting in their self-assigned path of political death.

While a basic theme of liberalism (the genuine one) used to be freedom of expression, the hallmark of the new movement is a refusal to even consider that there can be any other expression apart from their own. Where any is encountered, every attempt is made to exterminate it via tools such as ridicule, abuse, scare tactics and fear mongering, forceful removal and suppression, and other such things. In summary, the modern liberal is a bully, nay, a dictator. A totalitarian dictator. And dictators always create silent communities. They never get to know the true state of things. You'd think that the pro-Clinton liberals would have learnt a thing or two from the unexpected appearance of hitherto silent Trump supporters. But no. They still continue in their bullying:

1. Articles on blogs and engagements on social media are still being characterised by the monotonous emissions by rote: racist, misogynist, bigot. So unimaginative! They just are incapable of listening and actually learning why they failed and will continue to fail. They have minds locked up on the notion that only their notions are relevant and worthy of consideration - and therefore, final. It makes them feel good to have the last word in discusses. To them, it reinforces the delusion that they are right.

2. In all their lamentations, they blame everyone and everything except themselves for their failure. The list is endless: misguided ignorant Trump followers (deplorables), racists, Comey, whitelash, and even the electoral college system. The problem must be found somewhere else since they are always right! It's even reported that Clinton herself blames President Obama for her woes because he didn't do enough on time (to interfere in the investigation being carried out by FBI). They have conveniently forgotten that Clinton did not even get up to half of the total votes. No absolute majority. So, from whence cometh the notion of "popularity"?

3. The less intellectual among them actually took to the streets in demonstrations. Throwing tantrums because they didn't have their way. Because some

people dared suggest, via votes, that there are other opinions apart from their own. There were no grievances about electoral malpractices or violation of their rights or anything of the sort. Only that they didn't win. The new liberal does not believe in democracy and the rule of law. To them it's just a channel of securing their personal will.

4. And now is the talk and appeal for signatures to encourage people to switch their electoral votes in bid for Clinton to achieve undemocratically what she failed to achieve democratically. So self-deceived and deranged are they that they fail to even see the sheer madness of the warped plan - like drugged multitudes under the remote control of an evil queen in a horror film.

And in all this, not a single word is uttered about the deeply felt complaints the silent majority has about Clinton. A casual wave of the hand is all the trouble they can take to dismiss these concerns: Clinton's cash-for-play issues, Clinton Foundation con games, Benghazi, ISIS, foreign financial sponsors, anti-women legal and private practices, extreme stance on abortion, gravely poor decisions while in service, and, yes, those damned emails. The threats are real, not only of the grave security leaks but of the unimaginable windows of blackmail which may already be opened anywhere on the globe to compromise her presidency. Is it wise for the nation to even contemplate taking such a risk?

In all, let these pseudo-liberals stop thinking too highly of themselves. Indeed, as far as knowledge goes, they have much to be humble about. As human beings, we only know in part - and even that is by the lease of God, whether we realise it or not. For "the secret things belong to the LORD our God, but those things which are revealed belong to us and to our children forever" In their morbid inclination to rule and dominate all other persuasions, let these political liberals no longer forget that promotion comes neither from the east nor from the west nor from the south. But God is the Judge: He puts down one, and exalts another.

A good place to start would be to abandon their arrogance. This will not only endear them to divine favours, but also open their closed minds to the validity and beauty of alternative views, and also return them to true and wholesome liberalism. Who knows, perhaps they may yet acquire the prominence which they so sorely crave.
