7 年I look to Professor Vaughn as a model--how to be both a supportive faculty member and an exceptionally caring individual and professional. I'll never forget and will always admire how Professor Vaughn recalled my law school admission essay when I was his student and how he encouraged my original research in his upper level courses. I met and interviewed such incredible colleagues of his in my research. It was so special of him to attend my graduation--when I graduated a semester early and to recall my contributions. His incredibly personalized approach to my education and his support of my potential are both ideas and actions that I aspire to Pay Forward in my own teaching and advising. Thank you, Professor Vaughn, for your care, kindness, superb teaching, and support--and your thoughtful example to live and teach by!
