Calling all students of the built environment - ready for a retrofit challenge?
CLIMATE RESPONSIVE RETROFIT DESIGN CHALLENGE
Retrofit is essential; It’s more challenging than new-build, and it takes a team of caring professionals to accomplish schemes that work. Our future professionals must grasp the complexity and embrace the constraints and challenges. This year we are pleased to announce that #TDChallenge23 will tackle the improvement of an existing timber frame building to?EnerPHit?or AECB retrofit standard.
This nationwide competition is open to any student (or recent graduate)?of Built Environment courses from UK Universities. The challenge?fosters multi-disciplinary teamwork and?will run until Summer 2023. There is a limit of 20 teams and up to 160 places. Sign up now to avoid disappointment. Registration deadline closes 01 December 2022.
