Calling all central production/cloud kitchen operators

We are looking at Central Production facilities to produce a range of hot and cold meals for one of our NHS Trust clients. These can be within the public or private sector, but must be set up to cope with high volumes, multiple diets and have an effective logistics solution along with many other considerations.

This is just an initial scoping exercise but our intention is to develop a bespoke food solution to meet diverse patient nutrition & hydration needs. The model will be based on the Trust specifying the ingredients, recipes and menus and for interested parties to bid against an input-based specification. In this model we would work collaboratively with a single or multiple suppliers to develop the meal solution. This is more akin to a specified food supply contract where the customer determines the choice but working with the supplier to achieve the best outcomes within a highly cost-conscious environment.

The purpose of this post is to gauge interest and invite further dialogue from the market.??If the model is feasible our aim would be to then develop a tendering exercise so that all qualifying parties can participate. Just to reiterate that we are interested in in-house, commercial, SME and not-for-profit organisations participating.
