Subject: Call for Proposals – Side Event Collaboration for the 10th Annual Multi-Stakeholder Forum on Science, Technology, and Innovation for the SDGs (STI Forum 2025)
Dear Esteemed NGO Partners,
The All India Sustainable Development Council (AISDC) is pleased to invite proposals from its partner NGOs to collaborate on a side event at the 10th Annual Multi-Stakeholder Forum on Science, Technology, and Innovation for the SDGs (STI Forum 2025). This prestigious event will be held at the United Nations Headquarters in New York on May 7-8, 2025, with an STI Action Day on May 6, 2025.
The 2025 STI Forum will focus on “Advancing sustainable, inclusive, and evidence-based science and technology solutions and innovations for the 2030 Agenda and its SDGs for leaving no one behind.” Special emphasis will be placed on the following SDGs under review:
SDG 3: Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages
SDG 5: Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls
SDG 8: Promote sustained, inclusive, and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment, and decent work for all
SDG 14: Conserve and sustainably use the oceans, seas, and marine resources for sustainable development
SDG 17: Strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the Global Partnership for Sustainable Development
Opportunity for Side Event Collaboration
AISDC seeks to organize a side event aligned with the core themes of the forum. This is an opportunity for NGOs to showcase their innovative projects, research, and scalable solutions that contribute to achieving the 2030 Agenda.
We are looking for proposals that:
? Highlight successful case studies, innovations, and scientific breakthroughs related to the SDGs under review
? Ensure diverse and inclusive participation, including women, youth, indigenous communities, academia, and marginalized groups
? Promote interactive and engaging discussions with clear takeaways and action points
? Offer collaborative opportunities between NGOs, UN agencies, and other stakeholders
Proposal Submission Guidelines
Interested NGO partners are requested to submit a detailed proposal including the following:
Title of the proposed side event
Brief summary (max. 300 words) outlining the objectives and relevance to the STI Forum theme
Proposed format (panel discussion, roundtable, workshop, etc.)
List of proposed speakers and partner organizations
Expected outcomes and key messages
Preferred format (in-person at UNHQ, off-site, or virtual)
Submission Deadline & Selection Process

The AISDC team will review all submissions based on relevance, impact, and feasibility. Shortlisted proposals will be submitted to the United Nations STI Forum Secretariat before the final UN deadline of March 10, 2025.
