Call for Proposals Open!
Kate Drezek McConnell
Vice President, Curricular & Pedagogical Innovation and Executive Director of VALUE @ AAC&U.
We are excited to share that the call for proposals is open now for the 2024 AAC&U Conference on General Education, Pedagogy, and Assessment.
?The conference will take place as a hybrid event spanning several dates between April 9 and April 17, 2024. With a thematic focus on courage, the conference will bring together a unique interdisciplinary, inter-institutional, and global community of educators, scholars, practitioners, and students dedicated to promoting the continued vitality of the undergraduate educational experience. The conference provides a space for generative conversations as well as hands-on professional development. Throughout the program, there will be opportunities to identify barriers to courageous change and to develop concrete strategies for dismantling them.
?Have you and your colleagues shown curricular courage in what you offer your students in general education? Do you have powerful strategies to share to help others take pedagogical risks in the classroom? Have you used evidence from assessment to bravely speak truth to power about student success? If the answer is yes, this is the perfect opportunity to share your insights and ignite transformative conversations that will inspire fellow educators to innovate, collaborate, and elevate general education, pedagogy, and assessment.
Proposals are being accepted for virtual and in-person sessions. Submit a proposal that demonstrates your unwavering courage in the face of change.
Proposals are due by 11:59 p.m. ET on October 6.
