A Call to Promote Dignity, Humanity, and Harmony
Reflecting on recent events worldwide, I can't help but feel disheartened by the state of politics. Politics, once meant to uphold democratic values and support people's welfare, now seems to have lost its way. It's become a realm of pettiness and irresponsibility, rather than intelligence and justice.
As a leadership coach, I believe that good and meaningful leaders have a duty to promote dignity, humanity, peace, and harmony. They are the guiding lights in tumultuous times, inspiring others to rise above the noise of politics and focus on what truly matters.
In organizations, politics often spoils decision-making, wisdom, and the overall organization. It can create unnecessary conflicts, hinder progress, and lead to a toxic work environment. However, good leaders can navigate these politics and promote a culture of collaboration, respect, and transparency.
I've never been one for politics, never belonging to a party in France or the US. When I vote, it's to fulfill my civic duty and honor the freedom of choice. However, the current state of politics, rife with corruption and self-interest, leaves much to be desired.
As taxpayers, we entrust our government with managing our funds and making decisions for the greater good. Yet, the mounting debts and deficits across economies show that politics often prioritizes agendas over the well-being of the nation.

While politics may be necessary for societal structures, it often serves as a shield for corruption and a breeding ground for division. Despite this, we can find hope in ourselves and those close to us, who operate without political agendas, focusing instead on genuine connection and care.
In these turbulent times, it's crucial to remain optimistic and trust in our own values, rather than the murky world of politics. Imagine a world where younger generations, with their healthy minds and boundless optimism, lead the way. A world where communities thrive on solidarity and friendship, pushing humanity forward with a great fanfare for truth and pure sourcing of information.
"In the end, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends." - Martin Luther King Jr.
Let's embrace this vision and strive to create a future where politics takes a back seat to genuine human connection and collective well-being.
