STEM Opportunity:
Desmine Burton, Program Director for STEM at Girl Scouts is calling for STEM presenters for Technoquest this year. Girl Scouts will be hosting Technoquest again on the beautiful campus of East Carolina University on Saturday March 10th. If interested, please contact Desmine Burton via email at [email protected] by 12 pm Monday, February 27 to receive a presenter form.
Technoquest is an event where over 140 middle and high school girls from central and eastern North Carolina come together on a college campus to experience a full day of exploring STEM topics while interacting with peers and mentors.
Currently, they are in need of workshop presenters for middle and high school girls. Presenters should prepare an interactive and engaging workshop for middle and high-school girls related to Science and Math. Presenters would have the opportunity to present multiple times within 1 hour or 2 hour time slots. Lastly, please feel free to share this information with any graduate student/alumni or STEM professional that would be willing to assist Girl Scouts with this year’s event. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Desmine Burton at [email protected].
