Call for Poetry - Zeitgeist, five issues of the modern age

In calling for poetry on specific contemporary issues, https://willowdownbooks.com is seeking to recognize that the five themes it has selected for its new poetry call are both obvious and hidden. "The Global Pandemic" - it's here, hitting us in the (masked) face everyday, and yet deaths, mental health, and political choices, remain elusive and at times, deliberately ignored. "Black Lives Matter" - a recognition that while all lives should matter, those of some continue to be discriminated against and denigrated - BLM highlights this. ALM hides this. "Climate Change" - scientists prove study after study MAN IS AFFECTING OUR PLANET - there are global accords, Greta Thunberg etc ... are we listening? "Domestic Violence": abuse, gaslighting, cruelty - coercive behaviour and physical violence skulks behind doors closed even tighter during Lockdown. Finally, what is the macro to our micro - "Global Economy" where are our politics, how can society change -where are the Great Debates, economic, social, and philosophical?
