Is there a call for leadership upgrade?

In my age of 18 a rare luck turned its face to train cadets in the sergeant school the elementals of military governance. I may only guess why somebody had his assessment on my account and set to educate young lads of my age military disciplines. Guiding people in the ground force service bears an utterly different pattern, in addition to the fact that the unit chief, should be liable for fulfilling the given tasks effectively, there are minimum 12 souls on commander neck that served to be supervised 24 hours a day, if they did sleep well, train efficiently and so on, up to hygiene control. What appears rare to crop up in business life. Hardly imagine that the head of a business unit express concerns on the quality of somebody’s strokes on trousers. It would have sounded bizarre in the strictest case; in the worst, a lawsuit for harassment can be forced forward. Moreover, do we care about if an employee slept well and how his/her kids are at school? Have you ever doubted what is the catch here? The answer turned out to be unusually direct; it is mundane; it is vital for the leader of any military unit to achieve both tasks, to complete set goals, which is entirely compatible with the tasks of any business, and the second one is to take care of the individuals you are literally responsible for at the cost, in the truest sense of the word, of the leader head.

What will be the commander fate during the military operation who plot hanky-panky and demoralize the team? I learn the answer, it can easily catch a stray bullet or slip on a mine sling and construct experiments with people from above - pay the check! Therefore, to become the real leader, one must be trained for quite a while how to distinctively manage subordinates. But before you start training, you will be tested from head to toe to be qualified whether the leader’s blood is circulating in your veins or your path is in other hobbies.

Unfortunately, in our daily routines, we are infected with the idea that a worthy leader suit can be worn by almost any person, likewise in practice the opposite is true when millions of people experience the burden of moral violence because any swindler who managed to climb the business stairs with cheats and tricks rise above the rest. The worst case, when a sneaky fellow stole a piece of the luck-pie, begins to wave his rod of power between the beaks of surprised subordinates, who turn a blind eye to the idiocy and cretinism of his/her decisions. One may say, there is a straightforward logic called common practice, but it seems to me that is not enough.

The future domain of leadership requires upgrades, sort of credentials that eliminate chances for varieties of boneheads to hold power in corporate governance, I call it Internationally Accepted Leadership Standards, which may restrain random people to enter the bosom of leadership. In other words, none is assigned to an executive position without being certified as a qualified leader.

The truth is that in the modern theory of leadership all aspects of corporate governance are considered, except one, there is no right for subordinates to evaluate the activities of executives. Do you know why? I guess, because we are all held for donkeys, playing on a "corporate violin" designed to limit chances of executives to be appraised by subordinates, like during the military operation. What are reasons not to share with employees the power of an executive appointment? the answer is obvious - majority of modern leaders fail the qualification.

The joke of the whole discussion is that none of us decide on such an experiment, motivating all the same "unqualified staff" to make decisions, which is essentially dogmatism squared and the conclusion goes straight off by itself, in the modern world we do not have a system that cultivate real leaders and could objectively evaluate and certify them, and secondly, the corporate governance paradigm suppresses the participation of personnel in accepting worthy candidates for the role of company leader.
