Call for Guest Speakers

Let me start by saying that I am deeply passionate about making the people profession better, about continuous learning, progress and future-proofing the things we do in HR, L&D, OD and EDI.

Outside of my day job where I head the People Experience and HR Service Transformation function for a global organisation, I invest between 5 to 10h per week of my spare time in:

1. mentoring other HR professionals of different grades and levels,
2. organising, chairing and speaking at events and conferences on a diversity of topics related to best practices in HR and the future of work,
3. advising networks and councils on trends shaping the future of work and the role HR teams will play in those futures
4. working on the podcast that I'm planning on launching titled "leading HR into the Future"

In the course of the year, I interact with an amazing pool of HR professionals, all as passionate as myself about the profession and the practice some via virtual or face-to-face events, some over social media channels or networks.

So here is my call to invite those of you interested in sharing good practices, and innovative ideas in two different formats.

CIPD London Fellows and Senior People Professionals' Network

The CIPD Fellows and Senior People Professionals' Network connects experienced people professionals with each other and provides a place for debate and discussion on the key current issues facing HR strategy, organisational governance and practice. It regularly engages and brings to the physical and virtual stage HR Global Leaders shaping strategies impacting people practices.?

For it, I'm planning a series of virtual and face-to-face events for the coming 12 months on topics such as:

• People Experience = Designing an Exceptional People Experience at work (inclusion, wellbeing, belonging)
• AI and Workforce planning = Strategic Workforce Planning for an Uncertain Future
• HR Skills and capabilities = Future Proofing your HR department – lessons learned from HR Leaders
• Future of work + employee voice = Building the Future of Work with a human-centric approach
• Engagement = Going beyond the great rethink and silent quitting – guidance from HR Leaders
• Progression and career = Getting ready to become an HR Leader
