In talking to district leaders and school leaders about what the Comprehensive Assessment of Leadership for Learning (CALL) is, we use a lot of words. But sometimes, it is better to see CALL in action. The CALL System inquires about actual instructional leadership practices rather than focus on just one individual school leader. Here is sample item and the action-based item-level data found in the feedback system:

Upon completion of the CALL survey, district leaders and school leaders can identify Focus Areas and Areas of Strength. There are many ways to cut into the data:

Principal Supervisors use the "Cluster View" in the CALL System to identify district-wide trends and to identify schools in need of further support all in the name of professional learning and leadership development.

The CALL Team works with various partners in various ways to support their work in leadership development and school improvement planning: school-wide leadership assessment and feedback, district-wide leadership assessment, collaborative survey construction, and using the online platform:
