Call for forecasting props

Here in the Northern Hemisphere, fall is turning into winter, so it’s time to gather fuel for the 7th annual forecasting contest. Before we can open up the contest for entries in January, we first need to agree on 25 binary propositions that will form the basis for the contest.

All you need to do right now is suggest ideas for events that objectively will or will not happen in 2022. Examples:

• The USA will win more medals than Canada in the Winter Olympics
• Lady Gaga will receive the Academy Award for Best Actress
• There will be more worldwide COVID deaths in March 2022 than March 2021
• Both houses of the US Congress will change control in the midterm elections

I will edit the suggestions to ensure variety, objective measurability, date of resolution, and so on.
