Call for ESG examples

To more strongly make the case for the materiality of sustainability issues, I'm compiling a list of companies / events where ESG issues affect(ed) valuations by a double digit percentage.
The list of negative cases (VW, BP, Olympus, Takata, Barrick, Anglo, US coal, German utilities, etc) is long. But I'm also looking for the positive cases (Novozymes, Vestas, Infineon, DSM, Tesla, Norsk Hydro, Unilever etc) that are less obvious but even more interesting.
Any names to add, please shoot. Just a name is already useful, but a bit of context on the nature/case is even better!
Thanks, Willem

7 年Hello Willem, Please have a look at the PRI assessment 2017 results of asset managers (including our former employer Robeco) and asset owners. These will be released soon. I expect that you can find several good examples of the impact of ESG factors on the valution of companies. Kind regards, Bas

7 年Great initiative. I also like M&S as an example. They have made great strides in reducing packaging. https://www.theguardian.com/sustainable-business/best-practice-exchange/marks-and-spencer-change-better
