Need volunteers to make phone calls
- HB 831 election integrity bill
Dear Fellow Brigaders, a very important election integrity bill HB 831 has been introduced to the FL House, a copy of press release is attached and you can read the full Bill here The Florida Senate.?
One of our members, Mary Griffey, has been researching this and was told the Bill was referred to subcommittee in the Florida House of Representatives (see list of 13 Republicans in subcommittee below).
If the bill passes each committee favorably, it will move to the?FL House floor for a full vote. If both HB 831 and its FL Senate companion bill pass their respective chambers, the legislation will be sent to Governor DeSantis' desk for his signature to become law. This Bill will help ensure that only citizens are voting in our elections.?
Mary is looking for volunteers that are available to call?or e-mail FL legislative representatives and/or committee members during weekday working hours to ask them to support this very important Bill.?
