A Call to Action: Help Us Enhance the Global Conversation about Cancer!

Every single day I get to work with talented journalists, reporters, writers and support staff helping me to find the best candidates - doctors, specialists, researchers/scientists, and patient advocates - to join me for an interview for The Onco'Zine Brief - our weekly radio show about cancer, cancer treatment, diagnosis, prevention and more.
It takes many talented and committed people to cover 'cancer,' to help us research and produce the reports of new discoveries, new ways to diagnose cancer, the surprising, behind-the-scenes, stories of how new cancer medicines are being developed and how a better understanding of the biology of cancer may ultimately help us cure and ... prevent cancer.
Cancer is complex. It's not just one single disease, but rather a group of diseases. According to the American Cancer Society and the National Cancer Institute there are more than 100 different types of cancers... And what's more:
- Cancer has also divers causes: There is not just one strategy to prevent or treat them;
- Different cancers also respond to different treatments: There is not just one single strategy to treat the disease;
- Treating cancer is also complicated because of lifestyle, the physiology of patients and how a patient's body respond to treatment.
Each week, in The Onco'Zine Brief, we interview a cancer expert, a researcher, a scientist or a patient advocate who helps us to reshape the way we sees and understand cancer. But we also talk about issues like health related disparities, access to care, financial toxicity, and much more. Our goal is to help enhance the global conversation about cancer.
We try to strip away the fear and misunderstanding that surrounds this disease. And we report from major national and international medical meetings to share with you what's new...
But non of the stories we bring, and non of interviews you hear in The Onco'Zine Brief would exist without listeners like you stepping up - one by one - and saying: This is Important to Me!
So, if The Onco'Zine Brief is important to you, help us secure our future, become a Patreon and donate to The Onco'Zine Brief today!
Thank you for your support!
