What is Calisthenics?

Calisthenics is an advancement of bodyweight training. It incorporates gymnastics with strength training & unlike actual strength training, calisthenics requires no weights just your own body weight!

What you gain from doing Calisthenics?

True strength lies within the human body and not how much you can lift! This type of training not only ensures you gain/build lean muscle growth but also improved core strength and improved balance amongst other things… most importantly, improved overall inner strength in various areas which cannot be attained via lifting weights.

How it will help you in the long run!

Unlike resistance training… calisthenics incorporates strength, endurance, balance, core, coordination and improved general fitness. It’s an understatement to say the least that as we get older our ”ROM” range of motion decreases. However, with calisthenics there’s constant movement and with the aid of the gymnastics element, your ROM and flexibility is endless. (It also makes for cool photos like these above!)
