California Here We Come: Backing Kooth's US Expansion
We were thrilled to announce our?￡3m investment into Kooth plc, as part of?the healthtech company's oversubscribed ￡10m funding round.
Kooth?provides digital mental health services to children and young people, recently securing?a transformative $188m contract with the California Department of Health Care Services, to give all 13-25 year olds living?in the State?access to its online platform.
Having made big strides in the UK and US in recent years, and with purpose at its core,?we're very excited to be supporting Kooth on its global growth journey.
September also saw us invest ￡8.25m into Leeds-based healthcare specialist Primary Care Physio?and ￡4.5m into Edinburgh-headquartered technology services business Stellar Omada. Meanwhile, we co-led Machine Discovery's?￡4.5m funding round, enabling?the University of Oxford spinout to drive commercial adoption of its AI technology.
