‘Recruiting’ more caregivers

As we work to reach more caregivers during this final stretch of the CalGrows program, we’re connecting even more often with care workers, amping up our marketing and media efforts, and continuing to promote the program through a wonderful network of outreach partners.

As part of this effort, we’re eager to share the stories of real people who’ve benefited from CalGrows – stories like those of Elizabeth C. and Rich H. shared by Futuro Health:

Stories like these help people see themselves in a similar role, and they can be powerful tools in helping people overcome hesitancy about enrolling in something new.

If you’ve produced stories – videos, social media or website posts, etc. – that profile real-life CalGrows learners, please share them with us! Or if you want to nominate a particular CalGrows course participant to be spotlighted, someone you think is a great champion or representative of the program, please send us your recommendations.

Supporting CalGrows learning journeys

We know that self-directed learning can be challenging, and some potential CalGrows learners may find the sheer number of CalGrows courses daunting.

If you’ve developed sample course pathways to help CalGrows learners identify and select courses that fulfill their goals, we’d love to hear from you. Whether these are pathways focused on a certain caregiving topic area or meant to provide broad exposure across topic areas, we’d love to see any examples you may provide to help learners structure their CalGrows experience.
