Your thoughts may be similar - 2021 vacation plans cannot come soon enough! With all that we have been through over the last year, our quality of life, ability to visit family face-to-face, and renewed exploration has never been more important. As the youngest of seven siblings, we always looked forward to that July family vacation in Puerto Rico. While there was excitement in the destination and what the vacation offered as a respite from ‘city life’, the early planning and anticipation of the trip was just as rewarding. These days, further discovering our beautiful country has been a recent focus. The booking of places to stay, airline reservations, car rentals, and sights to see are things I love to plan for, as all have to line up for a safe and enjoyable experience.

At CAK you can confidently know that we are putting you first throughout your travel experience. Whether you’re planning a warm weather vacation, time on the slopes, or business travel as those activities resume, our facility remains a safe, modern, and seamless way to get there. In addition, as vaccinations roll out over the next few months, CAK will be ready when you are.

Nonstop Service to Myrtle Beach

Tee up your vacation plans, because Spirit Airlines launches nonstop service to Myrtle Beach International Airport (MYR) from Akron-Canton Airport (CAK) starting April 15, 2021.

We are thrilled to offer additional low fare options to our customers as Spirit Airlines expands their nonstop network at CAK.

United Concessions Group

As of February 1, 2021 – United Concessions Group, Inc. (UCG) has expanded their operations into Akron-Canton Airport (CAK). After 40 years of successful ventures, spanning nearly two dozen locations in four airports, the company is now the exclusive food, beverage and retail provider serving our customers.

We are excited to add another Northeast Ohio community partnership here at CAK. We can’t thank our former contract holder, MSE International, enough for their support and commitment to CAK over the years, and wish them well. UCG is a family-owned Northeast Ohio based Airport Concession Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (ACDBE).

Elevating the Travel Experience

We've implemented a number of health enhancements to make the convenient travel experience even better. NanoSeptic Self-Cleaning Surfaces by NanoTouch Materials can be found on common touchpoints around CAK including TSA screening bins.

We are the first facility in the nation to line TSA screening bins with NanoSeptic Self-Cleaning Film. Each TSA screening bin is lined with film that turns prominent touchpoints on the bin into continuously self-cleaning surfaces.
