CAK Happenings
Renato "Ren" Camacho, AAE, PE, PTOE
President & CEO, Akron-Canton Airport
There’s a lot of excitement at our airport, and I couldn’t be happier to be a part of it. From meeting with community leaders and travelers, there’s no doubt that we will be able to get one step closer to additional service by coming together.
When you choose CAK, that decision directly impacts the retention and attraction of air service. An integral part of airport growth comes from a community’s willingness to rally behind service.
The Gate Expansion and Modernization Project will also aid in our airport's growth. The project remains right on schedule, even with the recent inclement weather.
We hope to see you back at CAK soon. As always, thank you for choosing your hometown airport. If you have a comment or question about the Akron-Canton Airport, message me; I’d enjoy hearing from you.

Air Service Update
Starting in April, United Airlines will switch from 50-seat planes to 76-seat, dual-class aircraft for travelers to George Bush Intercontinental Airport. The increased capacity and business-class option are a direct result of strong community support. From Houston, CAK travelers can easily connect to intra-Texas, California, Latin America and more.
Akron-Canton Airport (CAK) offers nonstop flights to 11 domestic destinations, plus global access aboard American, Delta, United, and Spirit. www.akroncantonairport.com.
