During the recent Filmfare Award, there was a major controversy when Teri Mitti from Kesari lost to Apna Time Aayega from Gullyboy.
Manoj Muntashir the lyricist said that that he will not attend any awards shows till his last breath. He said that Lord Krishna was killed by a hunter but he deserved a better death. Similarly, he felt that he deserved a better defeat.
The song ‘Teri Mitti’ had managed to spur the emotions of Indians; it beautifully captured what it means to sacrifice one’s life for their country. However the jury thought otherwise

It would seem to make sense that when companies recognize their workers with awards, they are likely to see a boost in morale and perhaps even inspire them to work harder.
