Caitlin Clark gets her props.

Caitlin Clark is a phenomenon. Her passion for the game is without question and her skills as a basketball player in the upper echelons of the game, both for men and women in the sport. Her accomplishments, including the record dollars being paid to attend her games, are likely only the beginning of a promising career. Having scored the most points in NCAA history, among both men and women is quite remarkable. She has even broken the record for three point shots with 499! It is interesting that her accomplishments in scoring prowess were compared to Pistol Pete. I suppose that's fair and yet maybe not. Pete did not have the luxury of the three point shot and if he did his numbers would be higher. If we took 499 points from Caitlin's record away to adjust for the 3-point shot advantage, I suppose Pete's record would still stand. Still, it's difficult to argue for the rest of the field who came up during the 3-point era that Caitlin's record is at the top. Congrats to Ms. Clark.
